Slack Approvals routes SSG human-in-the-loop approvals to a Slack channel. When a governance rule's verdict is ASK, the SSG daemon posts the pending tool call to Slack with Approve / Deny buttons; clicks return over Slack Socket Mode (a WebSocket from the daemon — no public URL, no inbound webhook) and release or block the agent. Restrict who may decide with an approver allowlist (Slack member IDs) so only a designated human — not the agent and not any channel member — can approve; every decision is attributed in the audit log. The bot token never reaches the browser: this is a UI-only plugin and all Slack traffic stays server-side. It is the Slack analogue of the SigmaShake Discord approval relay.
